Below you'll find a detailed list of travel and transportation options to make your way to the wedding venue. We've selected possible airports and provided information on all of them regarding flights, rental cars, taxi's and trains where available. Let us know if you need any further information or help with booking.

Not mentioned in the list below, but also worth considering by our Inter-Continental travellers, is Manchester Airport (MAN), which is located at 175 km from us.

East Midlands Nottingham Airport is located at 50 km from the wedding venue and makes it the closest and quickest of all options.

The Premier Inn in Great Glen offers basic but quality rooms for a good price. Breakfast isn't included but can easily be added to your reservation from £6.99. This is the nearest option to the wedding venue with only 7.2 km.

Three Swans Hotel - Market Harborough

The Three Swans in Market Harborough is a more upscale hotel but at least breakfast is included. This option is recommended for those staying longer than just the weekend as it's located in the centre of the town, offering significantly more to do with restaurants and bars at a walking distance. The hotel is slightly further away from the venue at 16.2 km.

What to Do

So, you've decided to spent some more time in this lovely part of the UK and are wondering what else there is to do, besides attending the best wedding ever in the UK?

Well, for a starters we'd recommend having a look on the Tripadvisor page, listed below. A few of our personal favourites are Foxton Locks, Armourgeddon, Leicester Cathedral, Bradgate Park, Great Central Railway, Kilworth House, and Market Harborough town centre.

Oh, and for those who've missed what the recent local fuss was about, you can now visit King Richard III in Leicester.
